Applying to Cambridge University

When think you wish to apply to Cambridge University, you first need to decide on the course, which you plan to study. You should check that you are learning the right disciplines and have the right marks for your selected subjects.
Approximately one in five students entering Cambridge University take a year off before beginning their studies. This year gives a very helpful time in that to make better their skills, get money, tour, and usually obtain self-reliance and maturity.
When you desire to postpone entry, you need to state this in your UCAS application. You will perhaps be required about your plans at the interview, thus be ready to speak about your gap year.
The process of application for Cambridge University begins earlier than many other universities. So, your UCAS application should be handed by 15 October 2008 for admission in 2009 in order that they have time to organize the interview process.
Applications for Scholarships should be got by 1 September 2008 and for Choral Awards by 5 September, though the UCAS application does not have to be handed until 15 October.
Foreign students desiring to be interviewed out of the UK should apply by 20 September 8.
