Speaking about the University of Cambridge

Speaking about the University of Cambridge, one can do nothing but mention the number of the organizations within the University.

Nowadays, the University of Cambridge numbers 31 colleges. The rest of them admit only women. The rest of the universities are accepting both men and women. Two colleges are aimed on admitting only post-graduators, and four colleges admit only mature students or graduate students.

The curriculum within al the colleges are different and the educational specializations are also different. The rules of admitting into the colleges within the University of Cambridge are as a rule, the same; however, some colleges put their own additional demands and requirements.

Some colleges have stopped to exist in the development of history. For example, such universities as King’s Hall,  Michaelhouse.

In addition to the above said, I would like to mention that within the colleges of the Cambridge University, some theological colleges are also exist.

The main principle of teaching within all the colleges of the Cambridge University is supervision. The number of research departments is just great, in addition to the research departments, one can also find teaching faculties. The distinctive feature of the Cambridge University is as follows: it gives the opportunity to the students to receive not only theoretical, but also practical knowledge, which are considered to be priceless when you are trying to be employed after the graduation.
