Cambridge City and University
Cambridge City lies roughly 50 miles to northeast of the English capital in the county of Cambridgeshire. The city has a marvelous and astounding landscape and bridges located along the River Cam. Actually, the name Cambridge is considered to have been come from the river’s name.
Cambridge is home to the old university, the Cambridge University that was established in the 13th century. In fact, there are many colleges coming under the umbrella of the famous institution. King’s College that was set by King Henry IV in 1441 is regarded as one of the ancient colleges. The college houses a chapel that is more than one hundred years old and presently being utilized for some college events and concerts. Trinity College is one more constituent college of the university and this was established by King Henry VIII in 1546. Other constituent colleges comprise of Magdalena College and St John’s College.
